Career Opportunities After PGDM in Logistics & Supply Chain Management

Here are a few careers to consider after PGDM in logistics & supply chain that pay well and are quite exciting.

  • Supply Chain Manager –

The supply chain manager has to ensure the products and services are being produced and supplied in the right amount to the consumers. They have to anticipate demand and predict issues well in advance. They make upwards of INR 7 lakhs.

  • Strategic Planner –

Logistics & supply chain management is all about strategic planning. The strategic planner makes the strategies based on sound data for the logistics manager and supply chain manager to plan and make decisions.

  • Logistics Manager –

They have to study, predict, strategize and execute supply chain operations most profitably for the company. They also develop models for the departments to follow. Logistics managers make more than INR 5 lakhs.

  • Operations Manager –

This is one of the most important and responsible positions in a company. The operations manager is in charge of all the daily operations in the company. Operations managers can get a salary close to INR 10 lakhs.

  • Warehousing Manager –

From the storing to raw materials to the storing of the finished goods, the warehousing manager has to oversee all storage activities. They have to ensure goods are stored properly, dont suffer damage and are shipped on time. Warehousing managers make upwards of INR 5 lakhs.

Duration:

2 years Full time consisting of four semesters

Eligibility:

Any graduate with a minimum of 50% in the qualifying examination.

Entrance test for qualification:

MAT / CAT / CMAT / XAT / PGCET / ATMA / ICET & any other state entrance test.
